All are welcome to come and join us at our monthly meeting of the South Oxfordshire Filling Station.  We are a group of Christians from various churches, and none, who come together once a month to celebrate our faith in an informal way. 

Coffee and cake from 7.30pm, informal worship at 7.50pm, a talk starting at 8.15pm, finish 9.30pm.  You are welcome to come and go at any point in the evening.

The Baldons Carol Service

 

Making music at Christmas has long been a special tradition in the Baldons.  The Carol Service is a wonderful community event, centred around the mystery and magic of Christmas.  The date this year is Sunday afternoon, 17th December (time to be confirmed).  As usual there will be favourite Carols for all to sing and some special pieces from the Choir and school.

 

Do please get in touch if you would like to join the Christmas Choir.  Rehearsals will start after half term but the music has already been planned, so please ask for details in advance if you would like to sing.

 

Handbells are a special feature in the Baldons and Denice Timofeev would be delighted if ringers new or old would like to ring this year.  No experience is needed, just an enjoyment of Christmas music!  We especially welcome young people 9 years and upwards.  Rehearsals will start after half term and fit in with choir rehearsals.
