Film Night

Join us at Nineham Village Hall on Friday the 26^th April for film night!  Tickets are a suggested donation of £3.  Refreshments (wine, beer, soft drinks, popcorn) are available for sale.

Inspired by true events, THE LAST RIFLEMAN is a moving and heartfelt drama starring Pierce Brosnan as Artie Crawford, a World War II veteran living in a care home in Northern Ireland who has just lost his wife.

On the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, Artie decides to secretly escape his care home and embarks on an arduous but inspirational journey to France, to pay his final respects to his best friend and find the courage to face the ghosts of his past.

All are welcome to come and join us at our monthly meeting of the South Oxfordshire Filling Station.  We are a group of Christians from various churches, and none, who come together once a month to celebrate our faith in an informal way. 

Coffee and cake from 7.30pm, informal worship at 7.50pm, a talk starting at 8.15pm, finish 9.30pm.  You are welcome to come and go at any point in the evening.
